The
8th International Conference on Precision Agriculture is likely to be
the largest ever; with over 500 attendees from all over the U.S and
in over 35 countries (see program details). We expect attendance at
the 2006 Conference to exceed 500— an indication of the large
interest in precision agriculture and other precision resources management.
As with previous conferences, the 8th International Conference
on Precision Agriculture and Other Precision Resources Management provides
a forum for presentations on the current status of precision agriculture
research and applications worldwide. The Conferences facilitate interaction
among research scientists, producers, technology company representatives,
equipment manufacturers, input dealers, agronomic consultants, software
developers, educators, government personnel and policymakers.
The
Conferences also highlight significant research and applications in precision
agriculture, and showcase emerging technologies and information management.
They offer oral and poster presentations and exhibits, as well as opportunities
for discussion and exchange of information in various aspects of precision
agriculture. The Precision A to Z Track offers workshops and extended
sessions on key topics for producers and professionals.
